UTAR signs MoA with Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists Sdn Bhd for a collaborative research
UTAR and Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists Sdn Bhd signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) on 16 August 2021 via Zoom to carry out a collaborative research on “Analysis of Signs of Palpation-Guided Acupuncture Using Bioelectricity and Ultrasonography”.
The research aims to measure the palpation signs of the head and neck using the ultrasound device on four-dimensional volumetric imaging, tissue elastographic imaging and musculoskeletal ultrasound; and with the use of bio-electrical impedance on the distribution of body composition, Bioelectric Impedance Analysis and Electric Dispersion Analysis.
The signatories were UTAR President Ir Prof Dr Ewe Hong Tat and Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists Sdn Bhd Director-cum-TCM Practitioner Tham Hui Saan.
MOA collaboration with UTAR
拉曼大学（优大）与汉诚中医脑科诊疗中心于2021年8月16日，通过线上签署一份协议，以展开“使用生物电和超声波进行触诊引导针灸的体徵分析”合作研究。
该研究旨在利用超声设备在四维体积成像、组织弹性成像和肌肉骨骼超声上测量头颈部的触诊体徵，并利用生物电阻抗对身体成分的分布、生物电阻抗分析和电色散分析进行分析。
该协议由拉曼大学校长尤芳达教授和汉诚中医脑科诊疗中心院长兼首席中医师谭惠珊签署。
