THAM HUI SAAN
Director, Chief Physician
Dr. Tham Hui Saan graduated with Bachelor’s and Master’s degree of Clinical Medicine, from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China. Her Master’s degree was mentored by respectful Professor Ding Yuanqing (Neurologist), China National’s Advisor of Famous Veteran TCM Experts Academic Inheritance, Batch Six. Thereafter, she learnt the emotional disorder patterns with Professor Yan Zhaojun’s and manipulation skills from Mr. Lim Feng Er.
Dr. Tham is the founder of Micro Perception In-Depth (MPID) standard. MPID is the refinement of Chinese Medicine skill, which aims to enhance the accuracy of clinical diagnosis and treatment technique of Chinese Medicine. It is applied to identify the morphological changes in the human body. This enables fine-tune analysis of Chinese medicine diagnosis methods. In addition, MPID guides and differentiates the clinical indications for Chinese Medicine treatment methods including maneuver, acupuncture, moxibustion and herbal prescription.
Under the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS), Dr. Tham contributes as an active Committee member of Neijing Professional and Mental Health. In the academic field, she holds the role as a clinical preceptor for Master in Science (Acupuncture) of International Medical University (IMU) and a speaker for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Besides, she is a regular guest speaker for medical forums and mass media for public education regarding Chinese Medicine related information.
She was a former lecturer of Chinese Medicine course at Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). She also held the position of Academic Director of Malaysian Chinese Medical Association in promoting the continuous education programme for Malaysia Chinese Medicine practitioners. Dr. Tham had served as Chinese Medicine advising committee of Ministry of Health Malaysia, and was responsible for the development of TCM legislative matters.
Han Neuro Acupuncture and Herbal Specialists is established by Dr. Tham in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. With MPID’s establishment and its outstanding efficacy in various brain disorders, the center has attracted patients from more than 40 countries.
CHAN XIAN KANG
Deputy Director, Senior Physician
Chan Xian Kang is TCM physician of Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists. He was honored with Bachelor of Chinese Medicine in University Tunku Abdul Rahman and practiced his clinical training at Guang Xi Chinese Medicine University First Affiliated Hospital, China. He is currently an active member of Malaysian Chinese Medical Association (MCMA).
He is an apprentice of Dr. Tham Hui Saan, the Director cum Chief physician of Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists. Under instruction of Dr. Tham, he advance his clinical knowledge and palpation technique of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in addition to improve the efficacy of TCM diagnosis and treatment.
Mr. Chan was a former TCM physician in Chinese Medical Aid Department. He was also a clinical tutor to the enrolled student of Traditional Chinese Medicine faculty. Besides, he has been invited as speaker of TCM talk to provide TCM related information to public. Clinically, he specialized in providing acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine treatment.
TAN LI PING
Senior Physician
Tan Li Ping, graduated from University Tunku Abdul Rahman with Bachelor of Chinese Medicine (Hons). She completed a year of clinical training at Guang Xi Chinese Medicine University First Affiliated Hospital, China.
In year 2016, she became an apprentice to Dr. Tham Hui Saan, Chief physician of Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists and learn the Chinese Medicine morphological palpation as the main examination method to guide the treatment, especially focusing on pain disorder.
She is the incumbent Chinese Medicine physician Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists. Clinically, she used Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture and manipulation method as therapeutic treatment.
TEE JUN HUEI
Senior Physician
Tee Jun Huei holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese Medicine (First Class Honours) from University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). He had completed a year of clinical training at TCM Hospital of YangZhou in JiangSu Province – an affiliated hospital of NanJing University of TCM. Throughout the year of clinical training, he was rotated to various departments of the hospital and also trained under Dr Lee Yaw Qian, a renowned in Internal Medicine of TCM in YangZhou.
Upon returning to Malaysia, Tee Jun Huei joined an apprenticeship program under Dr. Tham Hui Saan, Chief physician of Han Neuro Acupuncture and Herbs Specialists to study Micro Perception In-Depth (MPID), a refinement of Chinese Medicine skill which helps to increase the accuracy of diagnostic skill and outstanding therapeutic effect.
Now he joins Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists as a TCM physician and offers various medical treatments including Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture and manipulation method.
AMELIA ANG SZE YUN
Senior Physician
Amelia Ang Sze Yun, graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (Australia) with a dual degree in Bachelor of Applied Science Chinese Medicine (Distinction) and Bachelor of Health Science (Distinction). Besides the clinical training in RMIT student’s clinic, she also attached to Nanijing Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine during her final semester. She is also an active member of Malaysia Chinese Medical Association (MCMA).
In year 2017, she joined the apprenticeship program under Dr. Tham Hui Saan, the Director cum Chief physician of Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists to study Micro Perception In-Depth (MPID), a refinement of Chinese Medicine skill which helps to increase the accuracy of diagnostic skill. Under the guidance of Dr. Tham, she further enhances her knowledge and clinical skills of MPID.
Prior joining Han Neuro Acupuncture & Herbal Specialists, she was a former TCM practitioner in a well- established University. She provides treatment like acupuncture and herbal prescription.
ENG KAI SEIN
Physician II
Eng Kai Sein, graduated from University Tunku Abdul Rahman with Bachelor’s Degree of Chinese Medicine (Hons). She completed a year of clinical training at Guang Xi Chinese Medicine University First Affiliated Hospital, China.
In pursuit for enhancement in Chinese Medicine knowledge and clinical skill, Eng Kai Sein joined the apprenticeship program under Dr. Tham Hui Saan, the Director cum Chief physician of Han Neuro Acupuncture and Herbs Specialists. Under Dr. Tham’s teachings, she develops palpation guided clinical knowledge and skills which enhance clinical diagnosis and treatment through the process of learning and application of Micro Perception In-Depth (MPID) in TCM clinical setting.
Clinically, she provides treatment methods including acupuncture, manipulation method and herbal prescription.
NG CHEE YONG
Physician II
Ng Chee Yong, graduated from University Tunku Abdul Rahman with Bachelor’s Degree of Chinese Medicine (Hons). He completed a year of clinical training at Guang Xi Chinese Medicine University First Affiliated Hospital, China.
After that, he joined an apprenticeship program under Dr. Tham Hui Saan, Chief physician of Han Neuro Acupuncture and Herbal Specialists to study Micro Perception In-Depth (MPID), which is a refinement of Chinese Medicine skill that helps to increase the accuracy and efficacy of diagnostic skill and therapeutic effect.
Now he joins Han Neuro Acupuncture and Herbal Specialists as TCM physician and provides treatment likes acupuncture, manipulation method and herbal prescription.
